Master Locksmiths Access Key

The Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK) initiative allows people with a disability to access dedicated public facilities.

Within the Cessnock Local Government Area (LGA), the MLAK key provides access to:

  • the Liberty swing and amenities within Maybury Peace Park (Weston).
  • Margaret Johns Park (Kurri Kurri)
  • Rotary Park (Kurri Kurri)
  • Council Administration Building (Cessnock). 

MLAK keys can be purchased from the Council Administration during opening hours. You will need to complete a MLAK application(DOCX, 976KB). Along with your application, you must provide one of the following: 

  • Letter from a doctor
  • Current Roads and Maritime Service (RMS) mobility parking scheme permit
  • Letter from a Disability Organisation or Community Health Centre
  • Disability Card
