Weekly works update
To keep the community informed about roads maintenance and repairs in the Cessnock Local Government Area, Council will be providing you with regular updates on where council crews are working and what they are working on.
In the coming week, Council teams and contractors will be working on the following roads (pending weather).

Orange Street, Abermain – Major works: Continue box out of driveways and shoulder widening, continue drainage line across Lismore & Orange St intersection.
Sandy Creek Road, Quorrobolong – Preparing road base for stabilisation, finishing off batters and open drains, scour protection on culverts
Sawyers Gully Road, Sawyers Gully – Site establishment and tree removal by Contractors
Browns Road, Black Hill – Grading unsealed road
Lings Road, Buttai – Grading unsealed road
Ellalong area – Footpath repairs
Aberdare Street, Kitchener – Reinstating driveways
Lomas Lane, Nulkaba – Grading unsealed road
Tuckers Lane, North Rothbury – Grading unsealed road
Various locations – Drainage maintenance and kerb/gutter works
Aberdare, Abermain, Cessnock & Weston areas – Pothole patching
Kurri Kurri – Town centre upgrade on Lang Street
