Scope of works

The works involved the removal of vegetation growing from the Ramsays Leap stone wall and removal of trees from the rock face on the opposite of the road. The works also included removing trees from a convict built wall north of Ramsays Leap.

Vegetation removal is now complete, allowing for site assessment and follow up works in the future to limit vegetation regrowth.

Funding

The project was funded by the State Government under the NSW Heritage Grant, Caring for State Heritage and by Cessnock City Council.
