The aim of the project was to improve pedestrian and cyclist connectivity from Nulkaba Public School to Wine Country Drive creating a link from the Bridges Hill to Wine Country Drive shared pathway project currently under construction.

This project forms part of Council's Operational Plan. You can find it within the Operational Plan with the Project ID CPW-2022-006.

Nulkaba Public School to Wine Country Drive, O'Connors Road Nulkaba

Scope of completed works

  • 2.5m wide new concrete footpath from Wine Country Drive to Branxton St, Nulkaba.
  • 60m of new concrete footpath in Branxton Street from the intersection of O’Connor’s Road South towards Ivanhoe Street.
  • 50m of new 2.5m footpath in O’Connor’s Road from Branxton Street to the entrance of Nulkaba Public School.

Funding

This projected was funded by Cessnock City Council.
