As a proud Darkinjung woman with Wonnarua ties, Aunty Michelle has a deep personal connection to the Hunter Valley. She respectfully teaches and celebrates the Traditional Aboriginal Culture of the communities that reside across the valley.
Join Us for a Special Weaving Workshop
Join Aunty Michelle for a unique Weaving Workshop where you can learn traditional weaving techniques to create your own bracelet, animal, or basket. This workshop coincides with the final weekend of our current exhibition, Songspirals, which features weaving, printmaking, bark painting, and song.
This is a free workshop, and all materials will be provided.
Suitable for ages 13+ years.
This workshop will be held in the Makers Space at Performance Arts Culture Cessnock.
