Not sure about 'minimalism' or 'decluttering' and how it will work for you and your busy family?
Personal stories and discussion with our expert panel will help you to live with a minimalist mindset, without having to throw everything away. Come away inspired and full of ideas about how you can create more by consuming less.
Discussion will be facilitated by Executive leadership coach and personal mastery coach, Alexandra Joy.
Four expert panel members will be speaking on the night.
Kate Beveridge & Mark Brown (Purple Pear Farm, Maitland)
Mark and Kate set up Purple Pear Farm, Education Centre and Biodynamic farm in 2002. The farm offers learning opportunities based on 20+ years of experience in teaching, farming, sustainability, permaculture, biodynamics and community building.
Today, Purple Pear Farm is a flourishing, productive farm and education centre with mandala gardens, forest foods and established permaculture, along with biodynamic and organic farming practices.
Susanne Thiebe
Susanne is a Professional Organiser and De-clutter Coach. With 16 years of professional experience, she has a comprehensive knowledge on innovative ways to reduce waste, recycle and donate meaningfully.
Susanne has a holistic approach to reducing clutter. She finds individual solutions to get on top of the mess once and for good! Her educational talks on sustainable living have helped many people come to a deeper understanding of how to create change for themselves.
Richard Stark
Is the Newcastle manager of OzHarvest. OzHarvest was founded by Ronni Kahn AO in 2004 and it quickly grew to become Australia’s leading food rescue organisation. Food is at the core of the organisation, saving surplus food from ending up in landfill and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. The organisation is committed to halving food waste by 2030, inspiring and influencing others to do the same, and transforming lives through education.
Topics covered will include living with less clutter, downsizing and decluttering, sustainable living, minimalism, consuming less, avoiding waste, waste free living, making and growing your own, sharing, swapping and bartering.
There will be a raffle on the night with great prizes to be won, with all proceeds going to OzHarvest. Food will also be provided.
