Come along to this fascinating workshop to learn all about the science, technologies, programs, and people helping to find and protect koalas.

In response to questions about the impact of the NSW Government’s Koala Strategy, Cessnock City Council will bring together a panel of experts for this community workshop as part of National Science Week.

You’ll hear from scientists and researchers from the University of Newcastle, Wollombi Aboriginal Cultural Experiences, NSW Environment and Heritage, NSW Local Land Services, Landcare, National Parks and Wildlife Service, along with local landholders and representatives from Hunter Wildlife Rescue.

This event is specifically targeting local residents with koala habitat on their properties.

Refreshments will be provided on the day.
