Getting Back to Business
The Hunter Business Forum is a free, business networking event that brings local businesses together to share their experience and expertise, network with industry leaders, create new alliances and partnerships, keep up-to-date on trends, make valuable connections and exchange business leads
In addition to business networking, this event will also include a presentation aimed at helping businesses recover from disasters such as bushfires, floods and Covid. We’ll consider the different phases of recovery and discuss key actions businesses can take to help get back to ‘business as usual’ sooner rather than later. Useful checklists, plans and templates will also be shared with participants to help make their business more resilient and position to take advantage of new opportunities.
We've received some wonderful feedback from attendees of our previous events; check out some of their comments below:
• “Was a great workshop. 1st one I have been to and found it quite informative”

Hunter Business Forum participants are able to access free business advisory consultations as part of the Bushfire Community Recovery and Resilience Fund project through the joint Commonwealth/State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
Morning tea will be provided at the conclusion of the event, with attendees invited to participate in informal networking.
The Hunter Region Business Hub (HUB) is pleased to deliver the Hunter Business Forum in cooperation with Cessnock City Council and Singleton Council as part of their Business Disaster Recovery and Disaster Preparedness Workshops to help local businesses to grow and thrive.
