Cessnock Waste App helps you stay up to date with bin collection days and learn how to recycle more effectively.
The app is available to download onto Apple and Android devices.
Looking for your electronic waste voucher?
The easiest way to get your waste vouchers will be through our Waste App from January 15, 2024.
Download the app onto your phone using the links above and follow these simple instructions:
- Open the app on your phone
- Tap 'Waste Vouchers' on the app main menu
- Add your name, contact number, address, assessment number, and tick the box to accept the terms and conditions of use.
Your voucher will appear on your phone. When you get to the waste centre, show the operator your voucher on the way in to check it's valid and on the way out click on redeem and our friendly staff will scan the voucher.
Note: Each voucher contains a unique and individual barcode that can only be redeemed once (even if multiple copies and screenshots are made).
We appreciate that not everyone has access to a mobile phone with Apple or Android app services. Vouchers can also be downloaded from our website and printed to bring with you. You can also request paper vouchers to be mailed out to you by completing the Paper Waste and Resource Recovery Voucher Request form or calling (02) 4993 4100.
