Lower Hunter Transport Services

Lower Hunter Transport Services is the community transport division of Northern Coalfields Community Care Association.  Formed through the amalgamation of Cessnock Community Transport and Coalfields Neighbourcare in 2019.

Our Mission Statement is to keep people who are transport disadvantaged moving. We do this by providing the best possible door to door transport for people and carers who find it difficult to use main stream services due to frailty, age, functional disability and for people with no access to a private car or unable to use public transport.

With our fleet of modified vehicles we are able to assist with access to the community for day to day activities such as shopping, banking, recreational activities and health related appointments within the Cessnock area and as far as Newcastle and Sydney.

We offer fantastic door to door group transport for social outings a number of times a week to luncheons at the many Bowling Clubs and RSL’s in the area as well as outings to Greenhills and Lake Haven shopping centres.
