Hunter Prelude Early Intervention Centre

Supports are provided by a team of professionals that include educators, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and a psychologist.

Children and families can access supports at their home, their preschool, childcare centre or family day care as well as with community access support.

Hunter Prelude is a registered provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).  Hunter Prelude also provides therapy supports under FaHCSIA 'Helping children with Autism' and 'Better Start for Children with Disability' funding.

Community play are also run in several locations in the Hunter to provide prevention and early childhood intervention to young children and families. These groups are currently run in Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Tenambit, Woodberry, Greta, Singleton and Scone. These groups are open to all families.
