Due to a fire at Cleanaway’s processing facility in Sydney, Cessnock Community Recycling Centre (CRC) has now reached full capacity and will be unable to accept certain problem waste items until servicing resumes.

Young people

Our town is home to over 10,000 young people aged between 10-24 years.

Cessnock Youth Centre and Outreach Service (CYCOS) is an initiative of Cessnock City Council.  CYCOS provides a range of supervised social, recreational and educational activities, offering opportunities that foster personal growth for young people aged 11-20 years.
