RFBI Cessnock Masonic Village

RFBI Cessnock Masonic Village is set on more than 3 hectares of land on the fringe of the CBD. The area is very tranquil, partly bounded by a lovely pond that attracts wildlife such as swans and pelicans.

You will be looked after in a loving and caring environment where compassionate care and attention to your needs are our number one priority.

To help you enjoy your new life here, we invite you to join us in celebrating special days by dressing up and enjoying special meals and activities — the idea being to simply have fun. There are many regular activities to choose from, including bingo, fashion parades, concerts, craft, gentle exercises, relaxation, bus trips, movies and art classes. There is also a pool room with a full size pool table, plus a men’s shed.

A full time activity officer ensures there is plenty to do, seven days a week. To help you get around, we own a specially modified bus with a wheelchair lift; our residents enjoy many fun-filled outings that usually finish with an ice cream or other treat of your choice.

The village has an on-site kitchen offering freshly baked morning teas and old fashioned cooked dinners. The dining room is a quiet spot to enjoy the peace and quiet and smell the aromas wafting from the kitchen. The menu is changed regularly on a seasonal basis.

We have a wide range of common areas, including: large foyer, dining room, activity room, library, hairdressing salon and pool room.

All rooms are single with en-suite, heater and fan in the bedroom and bathroom wall heater. Most rooms also enjoy air conditioning and all common rooms have reverse-cycle air conditioning for year-round comfort.
