Where you have appointed Cessnock City Council as your Principal Certifier, inspections may be booked online or over the phone via our Customer Relations Team on 4993 4100.

New plumbing and drainage inspection procedures in Huntlee-North Rothbury area

Plumbing and drainage inspections in the Huntlee and North Rothbury areas are moving from Cessnock City Council to Building Commission NSW.

You will need to contact Cessnock City Council to arrange an inspection if you have already paid fees for applications lodged and approved on, or before 31 August 2024.

Building Commission NSW will accept applications and conduct inspections for all new plumbing and drainage works in this area connected to Altogether Group Sewer Infrastructure from 1 September 2024.

You can arrange an inspection by calling the Plumbing Inspection Booking Service on 1300 889 099.

Responsibility for wastewater and recycled water service connection approvals remain with Altogether Group.
