Win 1 of 5 $100 Spa Gift Vouchers by supporting local this March

Cessnock City Council has five $100 luxury spa vouchers to give away to residents of the Cessnock LGA as part of this month’s ‘Support Local’ campaign.

This month’s campaign is shining a spotlight on the wonderful hairdressers, nail technicians and beauticians providing a great service to local residents in our LGA.

Cessnock City Mayor Jay Suvaal said the competition is a great way to spread positivity and support our local beauty hotspots.

"This initiative provides a platform for residents to actively participate in promoting and uplifting our local hairdressers, beauticians and nail technicians," Clr Suvaal said. 

"It’s a win-win for everyone involved, showing love to and promoting local businesses in the hair and beauty sector while also giving the community an opportunity to pamper themselves."

To enter, give a shoutout on Facebook in 25 words or less to an ‘on point’ hairdresser, beautician or nail technician in the LGA. Make sure you tag them in the post and add a photo of the business, the staff, your new hairstyle, makeover or nails. Use the hashtag #supportlocalcessnock in your comment or post and set it to public to make your entry count.

Five lucky winners will be randomly selected, and will each receive one $100 voucher to spend at Reflections Day Spa at Adina Vineyard, Lovedale.

The competition starts on 1 March and will run until 31 March 2024. The winner will be announced during the first week in April on Advance Greater Cessnock’s Facebook page.
