Cessnock City Council Mayor Dan Watton is calling on the local community to extend a helping hand to those in need as we approach the holiday season.
"As we head into the festive time of year, I encourage everyone who is in a position to contribute, to donate to those who may be struggling,” said Clr Watton.
“It touches my heart to see so many wonderful and dedicated organisations spreading kindness and generosity in our region, and together we can ensure our efforts reach even more families and individuals and help make their Christmas brighter.”
Donations will be accepted up until Wednesday 11 December. For health and safety reasons, please ensure all donations are new and unwrapped.
