Waste levy exemption for storm affected residents

The EPA has provided an exemption for the Waste Levy until 28 February 2025 for Cessnock LGA residents impacted by recent storms.

This means that at the CWMC, green waste and recyclable storm generated materials will be free to drop off and cost per tonne of mixed waste will be reduced by the levy amount.
