Cessnock Library will host best-selling author Todd Alexander on Saturday 23rd November from 10:30am – 12pm, as he shares his hilariously chaotic journey behind his latest memoir The Worst House on the Worst Street.

Having spent nearly two decades in the renovation game, Todd and his partner Jeff have tackled a variety of properties, from collapsing apartments to damp-infested terraces. Todd’s latest book chronicles their adventures as they navigate the ups and downs of home DIY amidst the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and near-bankruptcy.

Todd’s comedic flair paired with Jeff’s unwavering determination and exceptional DIY skills make their story a compelling blend of inspiration and cautionary tales tailored for anyone who has ever tackled or dreamed of embarking on a renovation journey.

Library Services Coordinator Rose-marie Walters shared her excitement for the upcoming author talk.

“This engaging event promises to be a treat for anyone looking for inspiration, laughs, and practical renovation tips,” said Ms Walters.
