Cessnock City Council has seven Hunter Valley Gardens passes to give away as part of its ongoing ‘Support Local’ campaign.

For the month of June, the campaign will be focussing on the fantastic events held in the Greater Cessnock area and aims to spotlight the great venues and businesses that host events that contribute to the culture of our LGA.

Cessnock City Mayor Jay Suvaal is encouraging residents to show their support for all the wonderful events in the Greater Cessnock this month.

"This is a great way to highlight the wonderful events we have across our region and pay tribute to those who put in so much work behind the scenes to bring them to life," said Clr Suvaal.

"Make sure you jump online and give your favourite event a shoutout to throw your hat in the ring to win a free pass to visit one of the most iconic locations in our region."

Residents are encouraged to give a shoutout in 25 words or less to an event, venue or business in the Cessnock LGA. To enter, simply post a photo of the event, the staff or the business, tag them, and use the hashtag #supportlocalcessnock for your chance to win.

Seven lucky winners will be selected at random to receive one of three family passes or one of five double passes to the Hunter Valley Gardens.

The competition will run from 1 to 30 June 2024. Winners will be announced in early June via Advance Greater Cessnock’s social media channels.

Terms and conditions apply. For more information, visit the Advance Greater Cessnock website.
