As a devoted father of two young children, Jay is deeply committed to shaping a better future for our community. His dedication extends beyond just providing for his family, he strives to ensure that local infrastructure and essential services can keep pace with the area’s rapid growth.

Jay was first elected to Cessnock City Council in 2016, and has served three years as Mayor. During this time, Jay focused on upgrading local roads and expanding shared pathways which enhance connectivity and contribute to a more sustainable community. He has also prioritised improving local parks, playgrounds and sporting facilities to create more spaces for families and children to enjoy and better venues for local athletes and teams.

Jay is dedicated to improving the quality of life for every resident. He wants to see Cessnock LGA grow into a stronger, more vibrant community, with a continued focus on development and improvement to create a thriving environment for everyone, both now and in the future.
